Open Day, September 20th

On September 21st 2013 and the surrounding days, EU will celebrate the achievements of more than 20 years of Territorial Cooperation across European regions!
On this occasion CCDR-N, Managing Authority of the
Atlantic Area Programme 2007-2013, will be organizing an Open Day event to celebrate the European Cooperation Day on September 20th, to inform the general public about the Programme and its co-financed projects. This event will be animated by presentations on projects achievements, a Programme exhibition and projects videos, demonstrating how the Programme contributes to the territorial cohesion of the Atlantic Area.

The working Group meets to decide on Managing Authority

The work to prepare the next Programme 2014-2020 is on track. The member States Working Group will meet on September 20th in Porto. One of the main items of this meeting is the 2014-2020 Managing Authority selection procedure. Candidates will present their applications and be interviewed by the Working Group members who will decide on the future Managing Authority.

Monitoring Committee meeting hosted by Welsh Assembly Government in July

The Welsh Assembly Government, hosted in July the last Monitoring Committee meeting and the Working Group for the preparation of 2014-2020 Programme, under the UK Presidency in 2013. Ms. Jane Hutt, Welsh Government Minister of Finance attended the MC meeting and adressed to all participants a statement on European Territorial Cooperation as an essential component of endeavours to build relationships between EU regions....

16 expressions of interest selected in the 4th call for projects

Under the 2nd phase of the 4th call for projects, 16 expressions of interest were invited to present their full application, until September 27th. Full project applications will be checked by the JTS against admissibility and assessment criteria, they will then be scored and ranked and submitted to the Monitoring Committe for approval by the end of the year. An indicative ERDF amount of € 6.000.000 is foreseen for this 4th call for projects.
